How long the Schiphol – Amsterdam transfer really takes

Schiphol sits about 15 kilometres southwest of central Amsterdam. Outside peak hours the drive takes 20 to 25 minutes: the A4 towards the A10 for the centre and Zuidas, the A9 for Amstelveen and the south, the A5 and A10 west for Sloterdijk and the harbour. During the morning and evening rush the same route can take 40 minutes or more, which is why our chauffeurs monitor live traffic and set out early rather than making up time later. For departures we plan three hours before an intercontinental flight and two before a European one — the small margin that turns a departure into a calm one.

What is included in the fixed price

One price per vehicle, agreed before the booking is confirmed, covering the chauffeur, the Mercedes, fuel, tolls, parking at Schiphol, meet & greet inside the arrivals hall and 60 minutes of waiting after landing. There is no meter, no night surcharge, no weekend tariff and no extra charge for luggage. Additional stops, extended waiting or an onward journey are quoted transparently in advance. Payment can be made in cash or by card in the vehicle, or online through a payment link we email you.

Travelling alone or as a couple with normal luggage: the E-Class. Board members, principals and guests who want the flagship: the S-Class. Families, colleagues arriving together or anyone with generous luggage: the V-Class, with genuine room for seven passengers and their suitcases. Delegations, crews, congress groups and wedding parties: the Sprinter VIP, up to 22 seats in executive specification. A large share of these transfers is booked by someone other than the passenger — hotel concierges, executive assistants, travel managers and event organisers.
